About Me

Hello!😄 I am Yuhan Qiao (乔禹涵, John), a prospective Ph.D. applicant interested in trustworthy AI, natural language processing, graph learning, and large language models. I received my Master’s degree in Computer Science & Technology from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2024, supervised by Prof. Caiyan Jia.

My previous research focused on graph representation learning, with an emphasis on improving model generalization and robustness through self- and semi-supervised learning. In particular, I applied these methods to rumor and misinformation detection, a task that lies at the intersection of natural language processing, social computing, and information reliability.

In the era of generative models, as large-scale AI systems generate an increasing amount of online content, obtaining reliable information has become more challenging and more important than ever. In my future Ph.D. research, I hope to study robust, adaptive, and responsible AI systems that can better support information reliability in dynamic real-world environments. More broadly, I hope my research can contribute to building greater trust in the information and AI systems that people interact with every day.
